Apple-Glazed Roast Pork recipe

Ingredients:

4 lb pork loin roast.
Salt and freshly-ground black pepper, to taste.
6 medium apples.
¼ cup of apple juice.
3 tablespoons of brown sugar.
1 teaspoon of ground ginger.

Directions:

Rub the pork loin roast with salt and pepper.

Brown the pork roast under a broiler to remove excess fat; drain thoroughly.

Core and quarter the apples, then place the quarters in the bottom of a crockpot.

Place the pork roast on top of the apple pieces.

Combine the apple juice, brown sugar and ground ginger; spoon over top surface of roast, moistening thoroughly.

Cover and cook on LOW for 10-12 hours or until done.
