Herbed Pork Roast recipe
Ingredients:
One fresh ham or pork leg, between 4 and 7 lb.
2 cups of water.
1 teaspoon of salt.
1 teaspoon of thyme, crumbled.
1 teaspoon of ground sage.
1 teaspoon of lemon peel, grated.
1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
1 clove garlic.
Directions:
Remove the skin and excess fat from the pork and place it in a large bowl.
Pour the water over top, then add remaining ingredients.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight. Turn the pork 2-3 times if possible.
Transfer the meat and marinade to a slow-cooking pot.
Cover and cook on LOW for 10-12 hours or until done. If possible, turn once during cooking.
Drain and slice.
